Call 0161 339 2222 between 8.30am and 5pm to book an appointment
we can usually offer one within 2 days of calling us, although we will try to fit emergencies in quicker than this if possible.
If you are under 25, you can book an ordinary appointment or drop in without an appointment to our Young People’s clinic between 4.30pm and 6.15pm every Thursday evening.
If you need emergency contraception (“morning after pill”), you will be seen without an appointment.
There are several clinics providing contraception and sexual health advice in Tameside & Glossop with a mixture of appointments and drop-in slots available.

If you are under 25 you can also go to one of our SAFE clinics, which provide a specialist service for young people. SAFE clinics are free, friendly and confidential. You can get:
- Advice & information about your sexual health
- Condoms
- Pregnancy tests
- Emergency contraception (“morning after pill”)
- General contraception
- Information about abortion
- Tests for chlamydia (a very common sexually transmitted infection)
