Terms of Reference for the Sector Groups:
- To develop and implement a Sector Delivery Plan that links to the Network Strategic Plan.
- To share good practice across local implementation teams to facilitate delivery of strategy.
- To implement the recommendations of the Sexual Health Network Board.
- To participate in local service developments for Sexual Health.
- To provide representation on Priority Action Groups established to look at specific areas of Sexual Health.
- To provide links and dialogue with key stakeholders in Sector.
- To work with Local Implementation Teams to facilitate performance improvements and management against local sexual health priorities.
- To participate in and implement the Network clinical governance arrangements.
Each Sector will have clinical and managerial leads to be the representatives of the Sector on the Network Board for a term of one year with review. Clinicians and Managers from each Sector will be also represented in the Priority Action Groups and will report/discuss issues with colleagues they represent for final recommendation to the Network Board.
The key focus for delivery change and modernisation of Sexual Health Services will be through the work within Sectors and Local Implementation Teams. The Network Director will contribute and assist in the development of a Network wide Sexual Health Strategy in conjunction with the Sectors.
On a six-month basis a Lead Clinician from each Sector will in turn undertake the Lead Clinician role for the Network.
