PAG Title
In order to focus on the patient and more specifically how we measured improvement of services it, it was decided the Network would operate within a project management model.

Therefore, from the results of the intial visioning work with the Network Board and ongoing Board meetings, we have so far highlighted 9 key priority areas for the the Network. The Board determined the appropriate Targets and the work was tasked to the appropriate Priority Action Group.

Some of these groups will be time limited to provide advice and guidance to the Sectors and the Network Board. They will provide reports to the Sectors and Network Board bi-monthly.

Their role includes:

  • Interpreting national guidelines and standards and developing a common understanding for the Network.
  • Identify what is currently happening, issues which need to be addressed and provide guidance on services, guidelines and protocols.
  • Agree common standards, patient pathways and clinical governance mechanisms.
  • Be responsible for communicating back to individual organisations, Sectors and Board.

The 9 key areas for improvement and the nine determined Priority Action Groups are listed on the side bar. Please click for more information.
