'More about emotion than action' - What young people want from sex and relationship education (2008)

UNPUBLISHED: A report by Rochdale Teenage Pregnancy Strategy drawing on qualitative and quantitative data. This report explores the way in which young people perceive SRE in schools, highlighting patterns in knowledge, attitudes and behaviour in addition to allowing comparisons between data collected by Rochdale Teenage Pregnancy Strategy 2007 and 2004 (Redgrave and Limmer, 2005). The report discusses young peoples’ wishes for their SRE and makes recommendations for the development of SRE in the future, while acknowledging that this is not just the responsibility of schools.
